REPORT – Events and Summits
AIU India Bharat Nepal Higher Education Summit was held from February 15 to 17, 2024 at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, Nepal.
AIU India Vietnam Higher Education Summit was held on 24th to 26th August, 2024 at Rex Hotel Saigon, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. Delegations from around 40 Indian Universities are participated.

Overview
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 highlights a strong focus on the internationalization of Higher Education in India. Emphasizing on initiatives to attract international students, the goal is to make India a preferred study destination for affordable quality education, while promoting ‘internationalization at home.’ The policy encourages research/teaching collaborations, faculty/student exchanges, and MOUs with foreign universities for creating a global academic environment.
